A moment of stillness.
A meeting of eyes.
Awe, wonder, presence.
In this busy world;
a reminder to pause, to notice,
to simply be here.

Do not look for signs. Do not look for experiences. Do not be so complicated. Become like a child. See everything with awe.

Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.

There is something about dappled light that won’t be ignored.
It flickers across walls, through trees, across the quiet surface of everyday lives.
Our goal should be to live life in radical amazement … get up in the morning and look at the world in a way that takes nothing for granted. Everything is phenomenal; everything is incredible; never treat life casually. To be spiritual is to be amazed.

Do you also think that beauty exists for some
fabulous reason?

your life—
what would do for you?

Something happens when you dive into a world where clocks don’t tick and inboxes don’t ping. As your arms circle, swing, and pull along the edge of a vast ocean, your mind wanders, and you open yourself to awe—to the experience of seeing something astonishing, unfathomable, or greater than yourself.

If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly our whole life would change.

In the Australian Summer and Autumn of 2020 following a serious health event, I spent many hours sitting on my veranda. Beside the veranda grows this rose. Day after day I watched buds form, petals slowly unfurl, the centre stunning gold and crimson emerge. On display: nature’s mysterious rhythm, the cycle of life lay bare. Small moments of awe; the experience strangely comforting.
